Richard J. Shore concentrates his current practice in commercial and real estate litigation, and has also practiced in the areas of internal integrity reviews and corporate compliance. Mr. Shore received his B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003, and his J.D., cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law in 2006.
During law school, Mr. Shore completed internships with Judge Thomas P. Griesa of the United States District Court, Southern District of New York, with the Committee on the Administration of Justice, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and with the Office of the Prosecution at the International Criminal Tribunal of the former Yugoslavia in The Hague. Mr. Shore also served as a board member for the American Constitution Society, Environmental Law Society, and the Moot Court Board, and as a staff member for the Seattle Journal for Social Justice.
Prior to joining Ganfer & Shore, LLP, Mr. Shore worked as an International Legal Advisor to the Legislative Drafting Institute in Sofia, Bulgaria, and as a Judicial Clerk for Justice Elyakim Rubinstein of the Supreme Court of Israel.
Mr. Shore is a member of the New York State Bar Association Commercial and Federal Litigation Section, New York City Bar Association Criminal Advocacy Committee, New York State Bar Association Cooperatives and Condominium Committeeand is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
