Our employment and labor law practice represents international, national and local businesses in all aspects of the broad area of employment and labor law. We are regularly called upon in cases involving alleged discrimination on the basis of race, sex, age, national origin, disability, harassment and hostile work environments, appearing before human rights agencies and in federal and state trial and appeals courts.

 We work closely with our clients to create and enforce employment, confidentiality, non-compete, non-solicitation, and severance agreements. We advise on employee hiring, training, disciplinary and termination issues. Our services range from drafting appropriate documents, including employee handbooks, work rules and job descriptions, to addressing pressing issues in the interpretation and implementation of FMLA, ADA, and COBRA regulations. We regularly conduct training for our clients’ supervisors on hiring, discipline, termination and sexual harassment in the workplace. We also work with clients in addressing labor union issues including counseling, collective bargaining, and representing our clients having union disputes, including strikes, in arbitration and before federal and state agencies and courts.
